Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
always quite liked him - ridiculous really that Carragher can spit at a child whilst driving and still be in work and yet this guys is forced out over a Shakespeare quote on Twitter

Xhaka of Arsenal called a British Airways employee a fucking white bitch and there was no sacking
Difficult one as the clown is white but seems to imagine he is isnt. Most confusing and a definite loophole

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Black racists are a gift to white racists.

"Look, they're doing it, so we can do it"

White liberals do their bit to help. Racism is a scourge, but to think that racism is a racial characteristic is a fucking idiocy that pours oil on the fire.

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
I went to a festival in the summer with a mixed group of woke Corbinista types. A great bunch

When we came back to out tents on the first night we found a pair of rudeboys from south London had camped next to us.

Anyway it turns out that the rudeboys were good lads and make a tidy living touring festivals selling nos and generally hustling. I ended up having a smoke with them and a good laugh.

Meanwhile the group I was with were shit scared of them and went quiet when eve they were around, not knowing what to say. It was palpable

The thing is I’m your typical West Ham fan, not PC at all and prone to joking about racial stereotypes and most of the woke mob would consider me racist because of this. Yet when it comes to it they are the ones who treat people differently because of their skin colour. I suppose it’s because they spend so much of their time going on about it

Trevor Sinclair is still doing media work after getting pulled over (for being pissed for which he was )and accusing the police officer of being racist ,then calling HIM a white cunt !

North B

That's black privilege to call us all racists.

As soon as they do that, they have lost the argument

Sacked from ITV news?

I'm sure he'll really miss the daily 10 minute section dedicated strictly to Grime music.

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
JLAP yeah saw that mate, he also deleted some older tweets stating "fucking white guys" and calling a collection of white people a "fucking cheesecake"

However the rules these days determine that black people can't have racist thoughts or verbalise racist comments as they are the minority, not sure how that works in black dominated environments but if truth be told I no longer care

I'm not sure why he's been fired for this although Brillo is probably right that the ITN suits were looking for a reason to dump him.
For all I know he might well be a good bloke but I'll be glad to see the back of him. Never liked his broadcasting style. Far too abrupt and way too smug.

Its not like he quoted Hamlet

"Is this a n*gger I see before me?"

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Arguing with people you don’t know under your own name on social media is a sign of insanity.
Doing it as a celebrity is COMPLETELY bonkers.

Trying to win arguments by quoting Shakespeare is probably deserving of the sack by itself.

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Coff I worked at ITV/ITN last year on a project and I needed to look at all aspects of their operation. When it came to the news programme, he personally invited me to watch the news being broadcast by him from the producer's gallery.

I spoke to him a fair bit, very nice bloke, absolute gentleman and extremely professional (unlike some of the producers)

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Feel for the people caught up in these purges but there is also an element of that old peoem about who the Nazis came for too*. In general, people in the public eye and elsewhere are happy to go along with the woke orthodoxy as long as it is someone else who is the target of the inquisition that week. For example, did Alistair Steward speak up when others were in the process of being taken down by the witch-hunt?

ITN staff petitioning and potentially strike in response

Seems like some people in the media don’t buy into this bullshit and will fight for their colleague

The world is changing

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Im wrong
It was the guy ( the blacknguy) who objected

Shapland retweeted the comment and branded Stewart a "disgrace", writing: "Just an ITV newsreader referring to me as an ape with the cover of Shakespeare. Measure for measure, Alistair is a disgrace."

Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
In other news Rachael Reilly asked twitter to look into George Galloway and Katie Hopkins accounts for hate speech.

You can probably guess who got suspended and who is still posting.

mattyolmes 9:35 Thu Jan 30
Re: Alastair Stewart - worlds gone mad
Surely the racism here is with the people who assume the ape quote is upsetting to this person because he is a black person.

They're implying that a black person is like an ape?

Please note this is not my opinion, nor does its being written here imply it is the opinion of WHO, WHO members, shareholders, or their families.
Or pets
Or anyone
